About the play :

City of stars is a journey of two people who accidentally meet on Bombay Local, and what follows next is a journey of a day that will be remembered for lifetime. Taking the challenge of enacting the piece virtually on Zoom , It's an attempt to bring out the emotions of the cinema of 90's in today's age and that too in our country India on screens but in a completely different medium.

City of stars , is full of emotions , musical and choreography where the actors will be present in completely opposite parts of the country yet so close to the audiences.

 About the Cast:

Gurleen Kaur , plays the character of Mia . She is a software engineer by profession but her love for theatre has kept her continuing the art along with the profession.

She has done plays with great Directors like Feisal Alkazi, Kajal suri,Kuljeet Singh, Ravi Taneja, Sameep singh to name a few.

She has been actively undergoing workshops related to the artform to excel her skills. She dreams of performing at The Globe one day.

 Divyshekhar Jha an aspiring artist, has been performing in the field for more than 7 years, a huge admirer of performance art and specially the South Asian forms of performance.

Has directed/assisted in more than 15 plays.

Assisted for Jamia Millia Islamia, for the short film festival.

Has worked as an Ad with Peninsula studios, in a project associated alongside coke studio for Hindustani and Carnatic music.

Two of the plays Assisted as a director and actor bagged first prize twice in Sahitya kala parishad.

 A visiting Faculty at Anupam kher Actor prepares, also worked as a Director/asst. Director for many of their workshops for Kids, adults and Senior citizens

Manav Doshi , plays the narrator. He is a BBA Graduate by profession but his love for theatre has kept him always active on stage.Has performed on plays Directed By Mirza Masood,Souti Chakraborty,Sameep Singh,Hira Manikpuri.

Has been performing on Various places like Kolkata,mumbai,delhi and Raipur.He aims to learn more
