From the producers of The Iconic New York Comic Con – comes the 6th Edition of Maruti Suzuki Mumbai Comic Con! The city’s biggest pop-culture event is finally here! Comic Con features the best of comics, movies, television, gaming & cosplay!
In this edition, Insider picks some of the best characters from the Marvel Civil War comics that weren't a part of the movie
1. Ragnarok
A cyborg clone made from a strand of Thor’s hair by Tony Stark (Iron Man), Reed Richards(Mr. Fantastic), and Hank Pym (Ant Man), Ragnarok was the result of Stark knowing that the pro-registration forces would need some serious power if they were to win the fight by sheer force. During a battle with Captain America’s forces, Ragnarok killed Goliath, shocking many heroes who genuinely believed the clone to be the actual Thor.
2. Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers)
One of the heroes with an identity that was already highly public, Carol Danvers sided with the pro-registration forces early on. Combining both a strong powerset and military training, Danvers is a lead force in Civil War as pro-registration heroes face off against those who side with Captain America.
3. Howard The Duck
Howard is abducted from his home planet and is dropped into the Florida Everglades by the demon Thog the Nether-Spawn, Overmaster of the realm of Sominus. Howard attempts to register under the Superhero Registration Act during the Superhero Civil War, but learns his socially disrupted life has created so many bureaucratic headaches that the government's official policy is that Howard does not exist.
4. Cable
Cable (Nathan Dayspring Askani’son Summers) is the time-traveling son of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor (a clone of Jean Grey). Cable, knowing what the future could be, is trying to bring about a better world. There is a confrontation between Cable and Deadpool in which Cable reveals that he will be fostering superheroes in Providence. When Cable meets Captain America to extend this offer, Cap refuses. Cable tries to convince him by revealing what he knows about the Secret Avengers' secret identities.
5. Sentry
Middle aged, overweight Bob Reynolds remembers that he is the Sentry, a superhero whose "power of one million exploding suns" derives from a special serum. The Sentry sides with Iron Man's Pro-Registration program. He accompanies a S.H.I.E.L.D. squad to battle Wolverine and tells him that he doesn't want to get involved but sees no choice; he claims he has to stop the ugly business even if that means becoming part of it for a while. He then knocks Wolverine unconscious and hands him over to S.H.I.E.L.D.
