Assad Khan, Sakina Bharmal, Shashi Mukherjee, Rahmeen Charania, Pooja Nidadavolu and Abhishek Prasad will be your Improvisers and Pooja Natarajan will be your host for the evening!

There will be a surprise guest appearance as well.

About The Artists:

Assad Khan is the PRODUCER of this show. He is a pure Improviser who has no interest in stand-up comedy, acting or just about anything else, in general. After realizing he is not going to do anything noteworthy in the field of Real Estate and Land Trading, he finally decided to do something he's most comfortable at. Ever since he was a kid, he had a knack of making jokes on the spot, based on whatever situation he is in. He loves laughing and also loves making other people laugh. He has learnt the art of improvisational comedy from the Queen of Improv - Kaneez Surka. He recently explored the depth of characters and learned Action Mime from two of the greatest European Improvisers - Laura and Gael. He wants to learn everything there is to learn in Improv, and wants to blow people's minds with things that he can do on stage!

Sakina Bharmal is a hardcore Mumbai girl. Apart from enjoying Improv, she is a corporate consultant, Yogi, cat lover, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons. When she is not training people with suits and ties, she is seen doing cartwheels at supermarkets on weekends apart from whipping up some amazing burnt water. She has learnt the art of Improv from Improv Comedy Mumbai.

Shashi Mukherjee has always been the funny guy in his friend circle, doing impressions of actors, teachers, friends, relatives, and neighbours. He has taken to Improv with an effort to channelize that into stage performance. A true blue introvert, he takes either time or alchohol to open up. Shashi has worked as an actor and writer with TVF, Being Indian, Shemaroo Youth and RVCJ Media. Currently, he hosts a chat show on Digital Commentary where he interviews actors of the digital industry.

Rahmeen Charania calls himself "The-Thick-Sheikh" and just wants to be everything! He's a health expert in pursuit of becoming a psycho-therapist and a practicing Personal Trainer. He loves superheroes, video games, drinking, dancing and putting a smile on someone's face. Improvising is the only way he gets things done. He chose improv cause here he's applauded when he plays his weird make-believe acts. He is heavily inspired by Wayne Brady, and he has learnt how to perform improv comedy and improvisational theatre under Ankit Challa.

Pooja Nidadavolu has been working as a marketing and business development professional in the luxury lifestyle space. She stumbled upon Improv comedy in Mumbai around 2 years ago, and soon after she joined a workshop conducted by Adam Dow and Naveen Malandro. Since then, there has been no looking back. Improv allows her to be spontaneous, creative and most of all, have fun! She feels that the best thing about improv is that it lets you be IN THE MOMENT ! When not working or improvising, she loves going out to new places, listening to music and dancing.

Abhishek Prasad is a legendary peep striving to do comedy. He's an engineer by profession but has got no calculations right. He's an Improviser by sundown, and puts smiles upon confused faces. He believes he has almost figured out what comedy is. He's unbeatable at cracking PJs. He also loves to swim, does organized bike racing and overthinks on silly things. Maybe you'll get to know from him what comedy isn't supposed to be.

Pooja Natarajan (the host of this show) is a corporate lawyer who moonlights as a stand-up comic and Improviser. Exactly how the moon has a cycle, Pooja tends to disappear from the scene every now and then. She loves being up on stage and often struggles to draw a line on when to stop with the jokes (she is very close to getting into some major trouble, FYI). She has learnt Long Form Improv from THE man himself - Adam Dow.

There will be one show every month!

We started off with a show in Fort last month, and we'll be in Lower Parel this month. We'll then move on to Bandra, Andheri (west), Andheri (east), Malad, Kurla, Powai, Mulund, Thane, Vashi and Kharghar.

So, if you can't come to us, we'll come to you!
