About the Event
A young migrant worker’s epic bicycle journey home during India’s COVID-19 lockdown brings fleeting national fame, but as his story is captured by a filmmaker, he finds himself caught in yet another cycle of disillusionment—navigating the fragile illusions of home, friendship and fame in this film that blurs the lines between cinema and reality.
About the director:
Suhel is an Indian filmmaker who locates his stories on the intersection of nonfiction and fiction, myth and reality - just like millions of his countrymen and women for whom this interplay is a way of life. His films have been shown in competition at the prestigious International Documentary Film Festival of Amsterdam (IDFA) where it won the best first feature award, as well as in Indian film festivals including the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) and Indian Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK). He is currently working on his debut novel.

3. No Late Entries will be allowed. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of the program.

8. Students must present a valid college ID at the box office. If a student ID card cannot be presented, the Regular Pass price of INR 249 will apply. This category of pass is only valid for students aged 21 and below.
