ABOUT THE WALK

The Park is a City Forest that is rich and replete with the flora of the forests of Northern Aravali. With over 300 species of native plants species (trees, shrubs, herbs, climbers and grasses) it is the perfect habitat for birds (resident as well as migratory) and wild animals (civet cat, jackal, neelgai, porcupine, hare, mongoose including reptiles and insects) of the Northern Aravali.

About Walk Leader :

Puneet Ramani is a Group Leader with Delhi team of DCP Expeditions team. He has been leading regular weekend photowalks in Delhi for DCP. His prime interests are in bird, nature and macro photography. His work and portfolio is available at http://facebook.com/puneetramaniphotography/

As we will be walking near bushes, please do wear full sleeved clothes and use odomos/mosquito repellent. Also, since we will be photographing birds on this walk, it is advisable to bring your DSLR with a telephoto lens.

Do carry a water bottle and something to eat, as we will be walking for approx 3 hrs.
