The first 70 percent of the trek, the beautiful Bhira Dam, Andharban Trek Trail, Khajina Waterfall, will be to your left. Villagers run a few small Dhabas along the way. They offer Maggi, Nimbu Paani and Poha. These Dhabas are mostly operational during the rainy season and on weekends. There are two major stream crossings. You will find villagers on rainy days here with ropes attached for support during the crossing. The second stream crossing can be dangerous if rainfall increases. There is a wooden bridge constructed by an enterprising villager who charges Rs 20 for crossing the bridge. We highly recommend using the bridge.

The last 30 percent of the trail is uphill, and first-timers can take small breaks while completing this section. The route is well marked, with red ribbons tied along small tree branches acting as a guide. Please carry mosquito repellent as the entire route will have wild mosquitoes. We can divide safety at the Waterfall into four parts.

  1. Weather conditions: On a heavy rainfall day, the trek will be difficult and risky; following trek leader guidance and rules is of the utmost importance, especially near the second waterfall crossing and the near the waterfall area. They are constantly screaming and try many stunts, swimming in the pool, diving into the deep end, and many end up drowning. Plus, the route has many boulders, stream crossing and dense jungle filled with snakes. Intoxicated people create many anti-social issues leading to the ban of the Waterfall for many months.
