The Paddy Field Camp: Sakleshpur

Experience camping in Sakleshpur on a 100-acre paddy field located a couple of minutes away from the mighty Hemavati river. Camp under the stars with an uninterrupted view of the horizon. There's much to do around our campsite but it's also perfect for lazy do-nothing vacation. The Western Ghats are filled with hiking trails. Some weave their way through the thick of the forest, filled with gurgling streams and intimate waterfalls that attract a bevy of colourful bugs and frogs. Others ascend quickly past the forest of trees to the smooth grass-topped peaks. These hikes are easy to moderate, but the feeling of the wind whipping through your hair and the clouds at your feet is well worth the effort.

If you’re an off roader we have a treat for you - for the first time, in Sakleshpur you will have the chance of off-roading through a waterfall, literally!

Activities planned for each day -

Dec 28th - Walk to the river bank in the evening

Dec 29th - Swimming in the morning. Birding and Paddy field visit .

Dec 30th - Trek Day - Coffee plantation visit and packed lunch by the stream. Rest.
Those who need to checkout return to camp. Rest trek to hill top. Return to camp by 5:30 PM

Dec 31st - Birding and Paddy field visit in the morning, Walk to the river.

Jan 1st - Swimming in the morning.

From Dec 28th to 30th-

Regular Pass/head/day for age 6 yrs & above - Rs 3300/-

*BYOT/head/day for age 6 yrs & above - Rs 2800/-

For 31st-

Regular Pass/head/day for age 6 yrs & above - Rs 4600/-

**BYOT/head/day for age 6 yrs & above - Rs 4100/-

- This is a community gathering in a private property, nuisance will strictly not be tolerated and you might even be asked to leave the premises if the community feels unsafe or disturbed.You are most welcome to enjoy your drink and keep the happiness to yourself and avoid disturbing others around you

- This is not a cheap, alternative for a place to get drunk. We are serious campers, we love nature and we appreciate if you share the same sentiment

- We are very particular on zero trace camping. Please carry a trash bag & carry all your garbage back with you.

- Camp Monk or any other person associated with the same accepts no responsibility for injuries or the loss/theft of any personal property inside the Venue.
