iPad users, we have a special treat just for you. You are already aware that the little device you own is a powerhouse. We’re here to help you recognize it as the ultimate portable art studio.

Over a 2 day workshop on Digital Pattern Making with Saman Ahmad, you’ll be learning to harness the powerful art tools of Procreate App. Here is a brief structure of the workshop to help you understand what all you’ll be learning :

Day 1 :

- Introduction to Procreate's features & tools

- Learn about layers; choosing the right dimensions of canvas; brief introduction about brushes

- Converting hand drawn sketch to digital line drawing

- Create a brush of your logo/name

- Creating basic illustrations (floral, objects, etc.)

Day 2 :

- Applying all knowledge of Day 1 & learning about Seamless Repeat Patterns in procreate

(A seamless pattern is an image or texture that can be duplicated and placed side-by-side, without distinct borders or separations. These patterns enable a single image to be endlessly repeated to create unique backgrounds or surfaces.)

Whether you are looking to draw or color just for fun or for work, this workshop will save you a tremendous amount of time by teaching you what it takes to make art with Procreate and have some fun while you're doing it!

In additions to the workshop, the course also includes:

- a copy of the actual Procreate file used throughout the course, so you can dissect and learn about it from the inside! (You can even watch, rewind, or fast-forward the time-lapse included with the file!)

- lots of tips, tricks, and shortcuts!

If you are already well versed with Procreate tools then you can register for just Day 2 of the workshop as well. However, Day 2 will not cover anything that has already been covered the previous day.
