The countdown to the new year will see Divine featuring Gully Gang enthrall not only the youth of Chennai but also all takers for the rap scene down south.

Vivian Fernandes, better known by his stage name DIVINE, is an Indian rapper from Mumbai. He started to gain popularity after the release of his single Yeh Mera Bombay.

He broke through with the release of his song Mere Gully Mein featuring fellow Mumbai rapper Naezy. Divine most notably contributed to the soundtrack of the 2019 film Gully Boy by Zoya Akhtar, a film which is inspired by the lives of Naezy and himself. Gully Boy went on to become a razing box office hit, with the soundtrack becoming the talk of the town. This also brought many Indian rap musicians to the limelight and saw Divine’s fanbase grow by leaps and bounds.
