About the Artform

Dot Mandala is a blend of two art forms - Dot Painting and Mandalas. A Mandala is a geometric design that holds traditional values in Hindu and Buddhist cultures whereas dot painting comes from the Australian Aboriginals. Combining these two artforms is a great tool for meditation and is a stress buster as well. It also helps boost concentration and gives the maker and onlooker a feeling of calm and happiness.

Flow of the Workshop

Day 1

• Brief Introduction on Dot Mandala
• Practicing the techniques of Dot Mandala on practice sheets
• Learning basic and complex shapes and patterns
• Start working on wall clock base
• Placing the dots & patterns in the grids

Day 2

• How to achieve uniformity and rhythm in the pattern
• Completing the patterns on wall clock
• Brief about Clock Machines
• Sticking Numbers on the clock
• Tricks to mark all 12 numbers correctly on Clock
• Attaching Hour, Minute & Second hands on Clock
• Start the 1 yr warranty clock machine by fixing the batteries
