A cultural trailblazer at the cusp of an exciting new chapter with his third full-length album, Sahej Bakshi aka Dualist Inquiry is a pioneer of the Indian alternative music scene. Frequently dubbed the “poster boy of Indian electronica”, the producer, DJ and music entrepreneur shot to prominence and became one of Indian alternative music’s first crossover artists with the release of his 2013 debut LP ‘Doppelganger’. He has supported the likes of Bonobo, Fatboy Slim, Flying Lotus, DJ Shadow,

Beardyman and more. He has represented India on stages such as The Great Escape Festival UK, Berlin Music Week, Ultra Music Festival Seoul, Malasimbo Philippines and Music Matters Singapore. He has also delivered landmark performances on the most prominent stages of India’s music festivals including Magnetic Fields Festival, NH7 Weekender, Electric Daisy Carnival and more.

Having started his career as a producer, Dualist Inquiry has also developed a passion for DJing over the years, bringing his own unique style with energetic, diverse and exciting sets that span electronica, house, electro, breaks, UKG and more. This new avatar of Dualist Inquiry has been rapidly gaining popularity amongst Indian audiences, having most recently played Boiler Room Chandigarh, Mixmag “The Lab”, and Road to Lollapalooza to name a few.

This is the very first time Sahej will be bringing his Live Audio/Visual set to Kolkata. He will be supported by one of city’s premiere artists - Adnan, along with resident D/Nas on opening duties for the night!
