 DESTINATION DETAILS :-

Nestled between Lonavala & Khandala, Dukes Nose is a trekker’s paradise for all the adventure

enthusiasts. It’s being renamed after Sir Duke Wellington’s Pointed Nose, another name for Dukes

Nose Point is Nagphani. As the cliff forms the shape of hooded snake. Roaring winds & misty fog

makes the trekking trail an adventurous one. There is a Shiva Temple at the summit, where one can

stand and witness the breathtaking views. Just be there to capture the panoramic view of Western

Ghats, Mumbai - Pune expressway and juggling trains. Indulge in some adventure to get away with

weekday chaos.

About Dukes Nose

Nagphani (Duke's Nose) appears almost inaccessible, but it is a surprisingly simple trek to reach the

summit from the southern approach. The trekker is rewarded with amazing views of the Mumbai-

Pune road and rail corridors, as well as great views of Khandala and the surrounding Sahyadri

peaks

 7th July 2019 (sunday)

5:00 AM :- Assemble at Borivali Railway station (Meeting point – Gora Gandhi hotel)

5:30 AM :- Leave towards Base Village in Private Bus

9:30 AM :- Reach base Village and Get Fresh , Have Breakfast

10:00 AM :- Start Trek Towards Dukes Nose

11:30 AM :- Reach at Top and Have lunch, Explore

1:00 AM :- Start decending

2:30 PM :- Reach base village

3:00 PM :- Start Return Journey to Mumbai

6:00 PM : Reach Mumbai

 THINGS TO CARRY:-

 ID proof

Good quality trekking shoes or sport shoes

 Extra pair of clothes (Compulsary)

A haversack to put in all the things to be carried. (Please Do not bring suitcases or sling

1)Please Inform about your medical issue in advance.

2) Participants will be responsible for their own belongings and health issues.

3) Avoid wearing gold or other costly jewellery.

4) Smoking and Drinking are strictly prohibited. 

Organisers are not going to tolerate such acts.

5) Keep in mind we are going for Trek not for trip, so maintain discipline and follow

leader’s instructions.

6) Trek leaders decision will be final and binding.
