EIDGAH - Premchand ki Kahani, Dastango ki Zubani is an engaging children theatre that dramatizes Premchand’s Idgah drawing inspiration from Dastangoi style of enactment, initiating children to two of India’s eminent narrative cultures.

The language of the drama is bilingual, with the use of English and Hindi interchangeably, thus making it understandable for English-speaking children, yet retaining the core essence of the art form. Besides being an academic support, this drama has been crafted to aid in opening safe dialogue with children on the sensitive topics of peer influence, peer ridicule, and bullying.

Dr. Pooja Jain has been a part of an award-winning puppet show and has performed at many esteemed venues including NCPA, Kala Ghoda, Under The Peepal Tree, etc. She has co-scripted Eidhag, Premchand ki Kahani, Daastango ki Zubaani for Grooming Babies.

Meher Gehi is a professional storyteller, trainer, educator, and voice artist. Her storytelling comes alive through her expressive eyes & voice. She loves to infuse her storytelling with her deep love for music, theatrics & spirituality. Meher can have her audience travel to various lands through her engaging tales. She has performed & conducted sessions at prestigious schools & venues in Mumbai & across India.
