About the Event
Ettina Bhuja literally means ox’s shoulder. At 1,300 meters above sea level, it is situated in the Dakshin Kannada district of Karnataka. It lies in close proximity to Dharmasthala and is a part of the Charmadi Ghats. Tall trees, beautiful views, and gorgeous natural backdrops accompany your way up the tiring, yet rewarding journey. As long as you love nature and like pushing yourself a little, you can take up this moderately challenging and fun trek offering a plethora of flora and fauna all along its stretches.
So, what are you waiting for? Just pack your bags and tighten your shoelaces, let us hit the road to experience this adventurous, fun-filled experience.
Trip Itinerary
Day 0 (12/03/2022.Saturday)
- Board the bus and will leave from Bangalore at around 10:00Pm, 12th March
Day 1 (13/03/2022, Sunday)
- Reach the homestay by 04.00am and freshen up.
- Start the trek by 04.30am and reach the peak by 06.00am.
- Watch the magical sunrise from the peak with clouds below your feet.
- We will explore the surroundings with beautiful views
- Take countless pics and selfies.
- Head back to the base by 08.30am and savor some yummy breakfast.
- Take a dip at Hanbal falls and relax in the ice cold water to escape the heat.
- Visit the famous star shaped Fort, Manjarabad Fort to revisit the ancient history.
- Have lunch on the way and leave to bangalore.
- Reach bangalore by 07.00pm(approx).

- Travel from Bangalore To Sakaleshpur In Non AC sit-in coach Bus/TT
- Breakfast, Lunch (Veg).
- Local Guide and Outdoor trek leader from Adventure Buddha.

Things To Carry
- Water Bottle – a life Savior(2 litres)
- Trekking shoes or hiking boots(helps you walk on different terrain with much ease)
- Backpack to carry all the items you need
- Energy bars
- Personal medication
- Sweater/ jackets for the night.
- Raincoat/Poncho (if it looks rainy)
- Extra clothing (in case you plan to get into water)
- Headlight/Torch with extra batteries
- Camera (optional)
- Carry at least one Id proof (Driving License, Voter Id or Aadhar card)

- Co-operate with the organizer(s) in following the schedule set for the day (especially getting up and getting ready in the morning). This will ensure travelers won’t miss out on the real fun part – that is traveling.
- Every traveler is responsible for his/her for your own safety while traveling with Adventure Buddha. Don’t indulge in any illegal or silly activity that causes harm to you or fellow travelers.
- Unexpected situations: It may happen we do not cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary because of unpredictable reasons like bad weather, wild animal presence, abrupt blocking of sites by the police/forest department, delay in travel because of an issue with our group itself, traffic conditions, etc. In most cases, if the time permits, the organizer(s) will take travelers to an alternative place. But in some cases, we may have to skip a place altogether.
- Travelers are expected to respect each other and help each other. Avoid discussing sensitive matters like sex, politics, and religion/caste/race.
- Using foul or abusive language, eve-teasing, arguing with fellow travelers/organizer(s), and/or involving in the physical assault will not be accepted and will stand a chance of being deserted by Adventure Buddha team.
- If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.
- It is the responsibility of the client to communicate with a third party (booking website) for cancellation.
- Cancellation / Refund is done by the third party based on their policies.
