Tentative Itinerary

Day 1. (22nd Dec)

Arrive at Guwahati airport/railway station.

Meet and greet and drive to Shillong- Scotland of the East. 120kms from Guwahati airport.

1. Umium lake

2. Umium view point

Evening in the streets of Shillong & Ward's lake.

Night halt in Shillong

Day 2. 23 Dec

Guwahati to Cherrapunji

1. Elephant falls

2. Mawkdok view point

3. Wahkaba falls

4. Awrah cave/Mawsamai caves

5. Nohkhalikhai falls

6. Seven Sister's Falls

7. Eco Park.

Night halt in Cherrapunji.

Day 3. 24 Dec

Double decker root bridge and rainbow falls trek

Start from hotel to Tyrna village about 15kms from your hotel to start your trek.

3000 steps 1 way.

Trek further to rainbow falls and return to Nongriat for night stay. (Depending on the Group energy)

Day 4. 25 Dec / 26 Dec

Cherrapunji to Shnongpedeng

Trek back to tyrna village and head to Mawlynnong.

In between we go to Dainthelian falls and Weisawdong falls.

Reach the cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnong and single decker root bridge.

Head to Shnongpedeng for a night camping with Bonfire.

Day 5. 27 Dec

Shnongpedeng to Shillong

Get up early and get splashed. Enjoy water activities like Boating, snorkeling, cliff jumping, ziplining, kayaking in the Umgnot River known for clean waters.

Head to the majestic krangsuri waterfalls.

Return to Shillong for night stay.

Day 6. 28 Dec

Laitlum grand canyon

Get closer to nature, find yourself at the Laitlum grand canyons.

I haven’t described a day plan which will be a spontaneous plan.
