About the Event
Join the Masterclass on Filmmaking by Deepa and Kanishka
The workshop will walk you through the process of filmmaking.
Participants will get a deep insight into the craft of cinematography and scene design. A variety of scenes from movies will be used to explain and tutor the participants into the process of shooting a scene, how to use cinematography to great emotional and visual impact while also learning the minute aspects of scene design.
The ball starts rolling from the stage of writing a screenplay and participants will learn how to write for the screen, using dialogues effectively, structuring a screenplay and finally how to sell your movie to the audience.

Learn Techniques of cinematography
Learn how to use light while shooting a scene
Learn to use and control light while shooting
The workshop will walk you through key techniques of cinematography like Camera movements, shot size and frame composition.
Participants get to learn the techniques by recording their original written scenes.
