About the Event
Sarvaa and Chef Harshini, in collaboration with India with Insia, are excited to present an extraordinary culinary journey through the enchanting Kongu region of Tamil Nadu, marking a debut event in Goa. The Kongunadu cuisine, rooted in the traditions of this region, is celebrated for its distinctive amalgamation of flavors and the emphasis on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Signature dishes such as Arisi Paruppu Sadam, a delightful rice and lentil preparation, Kola Urundai, which features spiced meatballs, and Kozhi Kuzhambu, a rich chicken curry, exemplify the cuisine's aromatic and flavorful profile, showcasing the unique spices and ingredients that define this culinary heritage.
About Chef Harshini
Chef Harshini's passion for Kongunadu cuisine is deeply ingrained in her family history, where she has inherited recipes from generations of remarkable cooks. Although she initially pursued a career in International Business, her culinary aspirations led her to receive formal training at Le Cordon Bleu in London. Following her education, she played a pivotal role in her family's culinary ventures in Coimbatore and was instrumental in designing menus for esteemed establishments such as Kovai Alankar Vilas.

Insia, the founder of India with Insia, boasts a rich professional background that spans over 17 years across various fields, including film, television, indie music, food and beverage, and hospitality. Her expertise allows her to craft meticulously curated guides that serve as a gateway to unique and immersive experiences throughout India. Through her company, she offers an insightful exploration of the diverse cultural, heritage, and culinary landscapes that India has to offer, inviting individuals to engage with the vibrant tapestry of Indian life.
