Fleetwood Mac is an iconic rock band that emerged in the late 1960s and achieved massive success in the 1970s and beyond. The original lineup consisted of drummer Mick Fleetwood, bassist John McVie, guitarist Peter Green, and slide guitarist Jeremy Spencer.

With their debut album "Fleetwood Mac" in 1968, they gained recognition in the British music scene. However, it was when Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks joined forces with existing members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, and Christine McVie that Fleetwood Mac truly took shape.

In 1975, the band released their second self-titled album marking the beginning of their golden era. Their follow-up to their self-titled album, the band released "Rumours," in 1977, which catapulted them to superstardom.

"Rumours" became one of the best-selling albums of all time and solidified Fleetwood Mac's status as one of the greatest bands in history.
