Rather than pure academic achievements, experts tell us that success is determined by many other factors.

One such theory focuses on helping kids to develop their Multiple Intelligences (MI). Developed by Howard Gardner, it states that there are eight different abilities or “intelligence” which parents can nurture and hone in their children.

Cognitive skills include attention, short-term memory, long-term memory, logic & reasoning, and auditory processing, visual processing, and processing speed. They are the skills the brain uses to think, learn, read, remember, pay attention, and solve problems.

Cognitive development means how children think, explore and figure things out. It is the development of knowledge, skills, problem solving and dispositions, which help children to think about and understand the world around them.
