Details Itinerary 

Day 1

05:00 pm Catch a Bus or Train to Hospet from Mumbai. Overnight Journey

Day 2

Reach Hospet By Bus or Train and meet Bhatakna team 09:00 am

Hop on To Local Bus to Reach Hampi by 10:00 am & check in to guest house

Spend the Day Hire Scooters/Moped and head out to Sanakpur Lake and go for a coracle ride. Roam around hippie town. Have lunch Explore the other side of the river, soak in the beautiful views ahead out for enjoying in the sunset from the Monkey hill/ temple after a small hike.

Move towards the guest house. Have a nice dinner & enjoy the night in Cafe.

Day 3

The early morning call.  Get fresh & Have breakfast time to check out.

We will move towards the ruins side of Hampi by crossing the Tungabhadra River on a ferry boat.

Get on the bicycle to explore the famous temples of Hampi - Vithala temple, the Famous Chariot, Kings Balance and around have lunch

Continue exploring Hampi ruins on cycles, Pushkarni, Krishna temple, etc.

Visit Virupaksha Temple, old bazaar and explore the local market.

Get the bus from Hampi to Hospet and reach Hospet to catch the respective buses or train.

Day 4

Early Morning Get down at Madangeri & will Drive to Homestay by you up by private vehicles and transfer to our homestay at Kudle Beach. 

Kudle is a picturesque beach bounded by hills on three sides. A perfect beach to spot the beautiful sunset and unwind with nature at its best. A complete loner, this beach offers the most silent and serene atmosphere to walk along the shore or simply sit down and observe the never-ceasing tides!

Here, we check in at our pretty little homestay and rest for a while after having a delicious breakfast. Bus/train journeys tend to be exhausting sometimes, so we'll leave it up to you to do whatever pleases you. Go for a swim, do some sunbathing or simply relax on a hammock. You do you! (The welcome breakfast's on us by the way :D)

14:00: Gather up, troops! Time for a trip to the secret beach!! (Sssshhhhhh)

THIS IS GOING TO BE THE MOST STUNNING BEACH YOU HAVE EVER BEEN TO. PERIOD!

Don't forget to get your picnic essentials here, we're gonna be watching one heck of a sunset today :)

Post the Secret beach trip, we come back to our homestay and call it a day.

BUT not before we go explore some nearby cafes to hog on some delicious food varying in multiple cuisines from Continental to Israeli to South Indian to Italian. And if you're a seafood fanatic; boy, you're in for a treat! 

PS: We have really good chances of catching glimpses of the bioluminescent phytoplankton (glowing blue color) in the waves during the late evening! So if you're planning to stay up a Lil late, you might be in for a sweet surprise :)

Day 5

07:00: Wakey wakey, All! Its time for the most awaited day of the trip. After having a hearty breakfast, (it's on us again!) we buckle up and make our way to OM Beach, Play Holi by The Beach Dance Fun Around & where the boats are waiting for us! We shall hop on to our boats and go for a rideeeeee!!

Keep your fingers crossed, for there are really good chances of spotting some dolphins in the sea! 

We'll conclude our boat trip at Paradise beach (Which is also known as Hippie Beach), watch the Aghanashini Sangam (where the river meets the ocean) after which we'll make our way back to the famous Om beach.

We shall take tuk-tuks back to our hostel and reach by 11 am.

We'll arrive at our hostel just in time for the check-out. After freshening up, we check out and make our way to Gokarna town and do a little Grafitti tour!

12:00: Post-check-out, we shall head to Gokarna town where you're set free again, to do whatever pleases you! You got plenty of options for super cheap street shopping, or you could go temple hopping too or we'll take you to a mad Grafitti tour! Legend has it that this place was the birthplace of Lord Hanuman, and this town attracts thousands of pilgrims every year throughout the globe for its rich history.

Once done, we quickly make our way to the Gokarna railway station to catch the same train back home.

Day 6

06:30: We'll reach back home max by 06:30 in the morning, where we conclude this once-in-a-lifetime backpacking trip. Back to our cityscapes with loads of memories in your heart and a very small hole to your pocket ;)

Sadly, all good things gotta come to an end, just like this trip; BUT with a promise to meet and make exciting plans real soon! Give goodbye hugs to the squad, share your social handles and get back to the fast-paced city life with a rejuvenated spirit!

Important Notes 

-For those who can't/don't want to ride a cycle, a rickshaw (extra rental cost) can be arranged to take you around during the cycling tour

-The distance we cover on the cycling tour is around 7-8 km. However, we take a lot of breaks while stopping at the various monuments. The route is fairly straightforward with a couple of slopes. Anyone who has basic experience in cycling will find this tour fairly simple. 

-There will be a good amount of walking through the course of this trip. This experience is not advised for people who have any physical ailments and can't walk for long distances

-There is barely any network in Hampi. BSNL works best. Airtel and Vodafone get erratic network at some places

-Please arrange to reach Hospet by 8:00 am on Day 2 and book a return bus from Gokarna on Day 6 post 05:30 pm (Contact us to discuss this in detail)

-Room sharing is on a triple sharing basis. As this is a backpacking trip, some rooms may have an extra mattress & also we can Experience camp

-Due to the variety of options available and the freedom of choosing your meal, we do not cover food on the trip. You're free to go explore the various cafes in Hampi. Meals are anywhere between 150-250 Rs per person.

-This trip has been carefully curated for the working crowd that needs to get back to work on a Monday. While we understand that 2 days is a short time, feel free to extend your stay in Hampi by contacting us.
