Situated in the Trimbakeshwar range, the Harihar fort offers a unique trekking experience, due to its sheer size. Built atop the mountain’s triangular massif, the three walls make it impossible for the fort to be conquered. The only way in is an exhilarating climb up the 80-degrees steep staircase chiseled into the rock.
Built during the Yadava period,Harihar Fort was surrendered by Shahaji Bhonsle to Khan Zamam in 1636, along with Trymbak and other Poona forts. Captain Briggs captured this fort in 1818, along with 17 other forts. An important fort in Nashik district, it is located 48 km from Igatpuri and was constructed to look upon the trade route through Gonda Ghat.
Please note that there will be 2.5 hours of ascent.

- Visit the Hanuman temple and pond inside
- Adventurous climb on the stairs
11:00 PM : Meet the Travel Trikon Team at Kotak Mahindra Bank ATM, near Dadar (E) station
11:15 PM : Departure from Dadar
12:00 AM : Pick up from Teen Hath Naka Junction, Thane
Day 1
05:00 AM : Reach base village, Nirgudpada, and rest
06:00 AM : Enjoy breakfast
07:00 AM : Introduce yourself and get to know the group
07:30 AM : Commence trekking
10:30 AM : Reach the top and explore the fort
01:00 PM : Enjoy lunch with a scenic view
02:30 PM : Start descending
04:30 PM : Reach base village and rest
05:00 PM : Start return journey and enjoy evening snacks on the way
09:00 PM : Reach Mumbai

If done prior to 5 days of outing 50% will be refunded
After that no refund will be provided.
Transfer of booking to another event will be permitted where feasible and will be at the discretion of the management and participant consent.
If Travel Trikon cancels the event and transfer of the booking amount is done, the full amount will be transferred to the participant.
If the participant cancels a booking and opts for transfer of the booking to any other event, only the refund amount (as per applicable policy), will be transferred to the new event.
In case participant cancels the booking of an event where transfer of booking is done, the participant will be refunded the amount as per applicable cancellation policy.
In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.), refund shall be payable with respect to the given refund norms.
