Also, Himachal Pradesh had provided shelter to the Tibetan refugees during the Tibetan uprising and there is a famous Dalai Lama temple in Mcleodganj, which had been visited quite a few times by Dalai Lama itself.

While Himachal is famous for its hill station and its tourist-friendly environment, each hill station itself has its own significance. Mcloedganj is famous for its lakes, waterfalls, museums while Bir is famous for Paragliding, which took place at billing, a nearby place from Bir.

Apart from those, Barot Valley is a place that has yet been unexploited by travelers as there is not much information out there but it does provide a redeeming experience of trekking in the lap of nature.

The best time to visit Himachal Pradesh is during the months of September to June. During these months, the Himachal had already received heavy rainfall and the weather in Himachal return to its best state.

There are various places to visit in Himachal Pradesh and each one captures different essence of the state. Famous places to visit in Mcloedganj are Dal Lake and St. John in the Wilderness while some of the famous places to visit in Bir are Deer Park Institute and Palpung Sherabling Monastery.

Day 1 : Overnight Travel from Delhi to Mcleodganj

• We assemble at RK Ashram Metro Station /Kashmere Gate by 7 pm and meet the other group members.
• We will be travelling overnight travel from Delhi to Mcleodganj by Volvo Bus

Day 2 : Reach Mcleodganj. Sightseeing and Night Stay

• Open your eyes in the mighty mountains of Dhauladhars. The overnight bus will have you reach Mcleodganj by 10 in the morning.
• Check-in into your hotel and enjoy the morning tea and breakfast on arrival and have rest in your comfortable stays. Post lunch, we will explore Mcleodganj. A visit to Namgyal Monastery, The Dalai Lama Temple, and Bhagsu Waterfall and then get back to the hotel by evening.
• After dinner, you will be given a brief about the next day, when you trek to Tiund.

Day 3 : Day Hike to Triund .Night stay in Mcleodganj

• Wake up to a refreshing morning in the mountains.
• After breakfast, we’ll start our trek towards Triund hill. The trek to Triund starts from Mcleodganj main chowk.
• The gradient of the trek is easy except some stretches and the total trekking distance is 9 km. The trail takes you through the dense forests of pine with some scenic views of valleys. It takes around 5-6 hours to reach Triund.
• Triund is situated at an altitude of 2875 meters (9432 feet) above sea level. Camps will be setup at Triund. Enjoy the views of Kangra valley. Expect a cold and breezy night at the top.
• Trek down by evening and spend the leisure time at the hotel.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Mcleodganj.

Day 4 : Mcleodganj to Bir. Night stay in Bir

• Post Breakfast we’ll begin our journey towards Bir. Bir is 80 kms from Mcleodganj and it takes about 3 hours to reach.
• Bir is famous as the Paragliding Capital of India.
• Reach Bir by afternoon and have some rest at the Campsite.
• Explore the Bir monasteries and the cafes in the evening, watching the paragliders come down from Billing like Birds everywhere.
• Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 5 : Bir to Barot. Night stay in Barot Valley

• Post breakfast, drive to Billing from Bir where you will be starting your paragliding. You can see the entire valley in front of you.
• After the paragliding session of 15-20 mins, we start for Barot Valley.
• Barot is a small village situated in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. The route to Barot is made exquisite with clear views of the dense cedar forests and terraced fields. Barot is the gateway to Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary. Monal, Black Bear, Ghoral, etc. are the main wildlife attractions of the sanctuary.
• Barot Valley is around 80 km from Bir and takes about 3 hours to reach.
• Go to the Uhl riverside and spend some leisure time around the only natural water body of the region. You can enjoy fishing if you like it.
• Dinner and Overnight stay at a homestay in Barot.

Day 6 : Barot to Mcleodganj. Drop at Mcleodganj. Overnight journey to Delhi

• Today is the last day of our Tour.
• We explore Barot Valley with the Barot temple and the Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary and leave for Mcleodganj post-lunch in the valley.
• We will reach Mcleodganj by evening.
• Take overnight Volvo bus from Mcleodganj to Delhi.

Day 7 : Reach Delhi early in the morning

• Reach Delhi early in the morning.
• End of Tour.

Cancellation Policy

Booking amount is non-refundable.

No refund of total trip amount will be provided on cancellation, 10 days prior to departure date.

50% of total trip amount can be refunded on cancellation between 11-20 days prior to scheduled departure date.

90% of total trip amount can be refunded on cancellation between 21-90 days prior to scheduled departure date.

100% of total trip amount can be refunded on cancellation, 90+ days prior to scheduled departure date.

If due to any unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, landslides, road conditions and any other circumstances beyond our control. Act of God, we won't be able to refund the complete amount.
