Alfaaz is back with another installment of the ‘In Conversation With’ series. This time, we are getting candid with Co-Founder of the Drama School Mumbai - Mr. Jehan Meneckshaw.

After finishing his Bachelor in Theatre Direction from Wesleyan University, the USA, and a Master in Theatre Direction from the University of London. He founded the Drama School Mumbai (a school driven to forging a new generation of theatre-makers) in 2013 and is currently serving as the Director of Drama Schools Foundation Mumbai. He also co-founded Theatre Professionals in 2008 to promote theatre-based learning through school education and has built partnerships across theatre institutions to strengthen the training and upskilling of theatre professionals.

His contributions to the Indian theatre sphere have been considerable and for this, he has been acknowledged by the Sangeet Natak Akademi (the Indian government's apex body for performing arts and culture) by conferring Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar (award). He is also a Kamalnayan Bajaj Fellow, and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
