About the Event 

Diplomathon Global, India's Leading Experiential Education platform for K-12 Schools has collaborated with Winning Matters for an exciting initiative this Olympic season! We bring to students an insightful and entertaining deepdive into the Olympics, with Hakimuddin Habibulla OLY, an Olympian Swimmer (Sydney 2000). Hakim has 30 years of experience in aquatics - beginning as a young swimmer, to competing at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, to being an engineer and eventually a serial entrepreneur in the field of sports. Hakim will be sharing his personal experiences and learnings at the Olympics - an ultimate melting pot of people, cultures and traditions and talking about Sport as a tool for diplomacy, He will focus on the role that sportspersons play in nation branding, and how sports can be used as a medium to increase the stature and position of a country. He will also share his thoughts on how platforms like Olympics support social inclusion and empowerment on an international scale - very relevant to students like you. 

Hakim is also the founder of Swimming Matters (a brand of Winning Matters) which is driven by a mission of getting a billion Indians to swim, and also to enable Indian win medals in Aquatics and related sports at the Olympics.  

The workshop will be for 90 minutes with a 60 minutes presentation followed by a Q&A.
