Hate Maths??? Here is a workshop to make you fall in love with Mathematics :) A fast paced workshop focusing on building concepts and Vedic maths techniques to develop speed, accuracy and cognitive skills. The workshop is helpful in developing analytical , cognitive and mathematical skills in the children. Workshop is designed to help participant enhance the quantitative concepts and mathematics aptitude.

Introduction to Vedic Mathematics

Vedic formulae

Checking of operations

Some 1-2 operations like squares /Multiplication

Practice session

About Vedic Maths and Author:

Vedic Mathematics is not a separate branch of mathematics but is the routine Maths itself. Based on 16 main Vedic formulae, the mathematical problems can be solved mentally or in one-two steps whereas the routine/conventional method requires much more time. Vedic methods are time, space and energy saving methods.

A single problem can be solved in many Vedic methods – each method is much simpler than conventional one. These methods are magical until you understand it and mathematics thereafter.

Shri Vishwanth Unkalkar would take you through some of these principles and make the arithmetic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplications, square, cube, square root, cube root, divisibility and several others look so easy and at the same time very interesting.

About Shri Vishwanth Unkalkar

After retiring from the services of The West Coast Paper Mills Ltd., Dandeli, as a Manager (R and D) Research Centre, Mr. Vishwanath Unkalkar spent most of his time in carrying out research and writing about Vedic Mathematics. He has profound knowledge about this subject and is an integral part of Vedic Mathematics forum - Kolkata, Shiksha Samkruti Uththan Nyas- New Delhi and Vidya Bharti schools in India.

He has actively participated in various national and international conferences on Vedic mathematics held at various parts of India and published, presented research papers on this subject.

Series of articles on Vedic Mathematics in Marathi and Kannada languages are published in local newspapers. He has conducted over 100 workshops and over 800 lectures on Vedic maths in various states of India as well as in various parts of USA.

He has been invited as a guest speaker in various companies like Aztek, Infosys, Satyam (now Tech Mahindra), Syntel etc. to spread the knowledge about Vedic mathematics which was highly appreciated by one and all.

He has written several books on Vedic mathematics in English and Marathi languages. One introductory book has been translated into Kannada language by Sakshi publication, Bangalore.

Regular lectures are conducted as a certificate course in Vedic mathematics in Christ University, Bangalore and Mt. Carmel College, Bangalore for the students of these institutions, and in National Institute of Vedic sciences (NIVS, Chamrajpet, Bangalore) for those who are interested in learning Vedic Mathematics.

Recently, he has created a set of 2 DVDs comprising of 12 lectures of about 60 minutes each on various arithmetic operations and some algebraic operations. This DVD was released in Ahmedabad by the Governor of Gujarat on 26th November 2016.

Shri Unkalkar is the author of many books on Vedic Mathematics, of which “Magical World of Mathematics” is the most popular .
