At Jamun we celebrate the diversity and the rich heritage of Indian cuisine. Keeping up with the tradition, the regional eatery has invited the renowned Maharaja Pushpraj Singh from the family of Rewa. The Maharaja has curated a unique one day royal dining experience and will be present himself in New Delhi on the 23rd of February 2020 to take you through the culinary heritage of the Bandavgarh forest. Maharaja Pushpraj’s late father played an influential role in establishing this Forest as a National Park to preserve its rich culture. The Maharaj, who was later made the Convener of the Tiger State Committee has worked towards the protection of our National animal.

Join us and delve into the legacy and culture of the Rewa district of Baghelkhand whose unique cuisine is largely attributed to the Bandhavgarh forest and can be traced back to features of Jain food with the specialty being an amalgamation of wheat and milk with local culinary products. Savour the extensive royal menu that will be prepared by Maharaja’s personal ‘Khansamas’ along with the chefs of Jamun. Our patrons will get to sample key dishes such as Shahi Kathal kabab, Kamal Kakadi kabab, Chicken Malai Latpata Mutton Bagheli with rice -or MIssi Berri roti, Steamed fish with Kodo and Khurchan to name a few from the menu that will be paired with our finest selection of popular Jamun cocktails.
