In this brew of three short stories from the heart of Bijnor, we listen to the storyteller reminisce about the people, animals, birds, trees, and houses(and more) in his little village. We find beneath their relatively simple lives multitudes of layers, that we celebrate, laugh at, rue, and smile over.

The whole town is chicken in front of the infamous "Fakko Ka Murga", whose deadly peck is what everybody's running from. Beware of the mighty bird, it's watching you, you only get one chance to make your move. 

"Hawa" is the story of a newlywed bride, the new talk of the town for all the bizarre reasons. But she is desperate to deflate this endless gossip and has found a way, but time will tell how effective it is.

In "Totaa Udd, Maina Udd", when the youngest of three daughters is sent to her sister's in-laws after her wedding day, she sees, hears, and feels things she is too innocent to understand. Her reactions are naive, but her instincts are in the right place.

This is a boiling pot of sweet and savory stories you will be left wanting more, reminding you of home.
