KALSUBAI MONSOON SPECIAL NIGHT TREK

Experience the thrill of conquering the highest peak in Maharashtra with the Kalsubai Trek. Standing tall at 1646 meters or 5400 feet, Kalsubai Peak offers breathtaking views and is located in the Sahyadri mountain range within the Kalsubai Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary. To ensure the trek is accessible to all, various measures such as steel railings, chains, and ladders have been installed in challenging sections.

Kalsubai Trek Event Itinerary:

By Train:

Day Zero - Saturday night

• Catch CSMT-Kasara 08.44 pm local train
• Assemble at Kasara Railway Station near the ticket counter 11.15 pm
• Travel from Kasara Railway Station to Bari Village by local jeep
• Reach Bari village and enjoy an introduction session with tea and biscuits
• Begin the ascent at 3:00 am
• Reach Kalsubai Shikhar by 7:00 am and explore the summit
• Have breakfast at 8:00 am
• Start descending at 9:00 am
• Reach Bari village by 12:00 pm and have lunch
• Travel by jeep from Bari Village to Kasara Railway Station
• Reach Kasara railway station by 3:00 pm and disperse
