About Kalsubai:

▪ Kalsubai, at 5,400 ft. altitude, is the highest peak of Maharashtra. 

▪ Overlooking the beautiful Arthur Lake and panoramic views of the Western Ghats and the backwaters of Bhandardara dam, the peak is situated within the Kalsubai Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary.

▪ There are steel railings, chains and ladders along the path which makes the trek simpler and lessens your chances of dieing from falling off the cliff by 99.99% 🙃

Itinerary:

 Day 1 - 13th March '21 

Meet up at Andheri station at 4pm and proceed further in a private bus.

Pick-up points will be on Western Express Highway on Andheri - Dahisar - Thane route.

Halt for dinner en-route at a local dhaba by 9pm.

Post dinner, we will reach the base village by 11:30pm.

 Day 2 - 14th March '21 

Night Trek starts at 12am.

It should take 3 to 4 hours to reach the summit!

Rest till sunrise after reaching the peak.

The feel of standing atop the highest peak of Maharashtra is inexplicable!

Have Breakfast at 7am along with garma garam chai at 5400 feet!

Start descending by 8am.

Reach base and board the bus back to Mumbai by 12pm to reach by 5pm.
