Well, It's the highest peak of the state. Standing tall at 5400ft there is no other place in Maharashtra higher than this that you can reach. People come here to test their endurance/stamina and will power. There are fields to cross, ladders to climb and patience to test.
The journey will begin from Dadar sharply at 11pm.
Meeting point: 10.30pm Dadar East at Pritam Dhaba.
Pick up points:
11.20pm Cheda Nagar Junction.
11.40pm Thane Teen Hath Naka.
From Dadar we move towards the base village called Bari in bus, the journey takes 3-4hrs depending upon the traffic conditions.
Once at the village the participants will be given time to freshen up and get ready for the day long trek ahead.
Day 2 (Sunday)
After freshening up the trek will commence by 4.30am.The early we start the better it is.
On an average it takes 3hr to reach till the top.
A good 30 min will be spend at the summit before starting our journey back to the village. The return journey takes another 2-2.5hr. Lunch will be ready on reaching the village for all our hungry souls. After lunch and a quick rest of 30min the return journey to Mumbai begins from where the people can go back to their destination.
We will reach back to Mumbai station by 8pm tentatively.
Day 2 - Breakfast, trek snacks,Lunch(veg/non veg).
