About the Event
Stand on the shoulder of the Giant - Kalsubai Peak overlooking all the neighboring hills and ranges covering the Sahyadri.
Standing at 5400 ft 1646 meters, Kalsubai is the highest peak in Maharashtra. The peak along with the adjoining hills spans along a downward-slanting east to west axis eventually merging with the formidable escarpment of the Western Ghats at almost right angles .Along its length they form a natural boundary demarcating the Igatpuri Taluka, Nashik district at its north from the Akole Taluka, Ahmednagar district at its south.
Often considered as a bucket list choice of most trekkers, this peak is a complete endurance test. However we highly encourage even beginners should join this trek.

Our private bus will do the pick-up from our selected locations:
Bus route : Blue Nile - Shivaji Nagar – University of Pune , Jagtap dairy chowk - Konkene chowk - exit pune
7 am –Pick-ups start
7:45 am exit Pune city
Lunch on the Highway
Reach Kalsubai base village Bari and prepare for camp tent set up.
Dinner and Campfire
Day 2:
6:00 am Wakeup call
Morning trek to Kalsubai, reach to the top and have breakfast. (Trek time 3 - 4 hours)
Head back to the base and have lunch
Post lunch we prepare to head back to Pune.
Reach Pune by 9:00 pm.
Meals covered on the trip: Dinner on day 1, breakfast and lunch on day 2.
Camping gear – Village Home-stay, sleeping mats, air pillows. (You can also carry your own bedding, one blanket per person compulsory)
Mineral water for drinking throughout the trip.
Tour guides and camp leaders all along the trip.
Medical assistance if required.
Personal medication
Breakfast and lunch on day one and anything else besides breakfast and lunch on day 2.
Please carry light colored full body clothing, jackets, track pants, pullovers, and sweaters provided they are not bulky. 2 Sets of clothing.

Personal medication

Blanket or bed sheet (compulsory)
Notify us immediately in case of any medical emergency, your physical fitness and mental alertness is important to complete this expedition.
Anyone found under the influence of drugs or narcotics will be requested to leave the trip immediately, without any refund.
Adventure camping and outdoor sports/ recreation is purely for nature lovers and not for party groups; we respect nature and do our best to spread the awareness about wilderness preservation.
Campsite stay requests all enthusiasts to maintain silence post 11:00 pm
