Deccan Drifts is conducting day trips to Karla & Bhaja Caves from Pune. These Caves in Pune district are 2nd century BC Buddhist Caves.

These 2200 year old caves are 60 km from Pune on the NH4 Pune-Mumbai Highway before Lonavala. Built during the Satvahana Empire on a major trade route by the Buddhist Monks for the Traders & Travellers to stay for the night. It has beautiful stone carvings, stupas & viharas inside them.

Deccan Drifts is an extended arm of Pune Heritage Walks for conducting tours & trips all over the Deccan plateau in the drift experience way.

# Itinerary

7 to 7.30 am – Pickup

8 am – Amar Devi Temple (built by the Pandavas)

9 am - Breakfast enroute

10.30 am to 12.30 pm – Visit Bhaja Caves

1 pm Lunch enroute

2 to 4 pm – Visit Karla Caves & Ekvira Devi Temple

4.30 pm - Proceed back to Pune

5.30 pm - Reach Pune. Drop will be at the point where you were picked up.
