Hooted1ce in association with Rangshila Theatre Group presents - A play, which satirizes some of the harsh realities of our society and the struggle of our judicial system. How the misuse of certain sections in IPC meant for the empowerment of helpless women has been going for a quite while and how a false accusation causes immense pain, sufferings, loss of reputation and dignity to an individual. After all, we live in a society where the accused is not seen as innocent until proven guilty rather is perceived as a convict even before the due process of law concludes in trial by the judicial system. Balli Sharma, an emerging advocate is striving to fight such case of his relative. Balli tries to dig into evidence to make his case convincing but several twist and turns obstruct his way to prevail. Will Balli be able to find a way? Are all men dogs? (pun intended) How would Balli and the Public Prosecutor weigh on the ‘see-saw of the judicial system’ or ‘scale of justice’ to make their side stronger? Come be a witness.
