Workshop Description:

The workshop will have 2 one-hour sessions which will be covered in 2 consecutive days. This will be conducted as live and practice sessions with your mentor. In this course, your mentor will help you find your scale, vocal range and how to support your voice. You’ll also learn about various breathing techniques and ear training methods.

Day 1 topics:

• Breathing Techniques
• Ear Training
• Supporting your voice
• Sur

Day 2 topics:

• Vocal Range
• Singing Style

Post-workshop:

• Know the basic fundamentals of Hindustani Classical Music.
• Learn how to do Vocal Warm-up and Do's & Don'ts of Singing
• Get understanding of Sur and Alankars
• Learn the art of different practice techniques.

Get to know your instructor:

Gaurav Vishvakarma is a professional Classical Singer with experience of more than 3 years. He's a Bachelor's as well as a Master's in music from BHU. He cleared the NET exam twice in 2018 and 2019. He participated in many competitions like Prayag Sangeet Samaroh, Spic Macay, and many more. He completed PRABHAKAR from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. He sang for Indian Toy Fair organized by the Indian government.
