If the first thing you know about Craze is that he’s the only solo DJ to win the DMC World Championships 3 times over, prepare to get yourself schooled. From day one, every uphill battle he faced was met with intense adversity; every kick while he was down only served to help him rise up even stronger. You want proof? Fine.
His family fled Nicaragua for the US when he was 3 in the midst of a civil war, suffered through Hurricane Andrew in ’92, the US’s costliest hurricane at the time, and was a total nerd through his teenage years. But while others would chalk this up to a lifetime of hurt, Craze let it fuel his passion. Instead of giving up, he slayed the DMC’s when he was just 20. Two more DMC wins later, Time Magazine named him “America’s Best DJ”. Yeah, Time Magazine. He went on to rack up more than 8.5 million views on his Traktor YouTube videos alone, and THE Kanye West took him on tour as his own personal DJ. As if that wasn’t enough, he started Slow Roast Records with Kill The Noise, an imprint of the infamous Fool’s Gold Records (A‐Trak, Kid Cudi, Danny Brown), and then headed out for a full US tour with Yelawolf in the last half of 2011. With two releases in 2012 – the Selekta EP, and Deeper with Codes, he’s hasn’t taken any time to slow down, instead focusing on a battle record with arguable the greatest scratch DJ of all time…Q-Bert. From Jamaica to Australia, Japan to Nicaragua, Craze has toured the world over, stunning audiences and DJs alike with his top-notch showmanship, and masterfully unique blend of rap, dubstep, and Miami bass.

DJ MoCity:
DJ MoCity is an award-winning selector, promoter and co-founder of South Asia’s first online community radio - Boxout.fm. Born and raised in Baghdad and New Delhi, MoCity spent his early days as a hip-hop loving teenager in New Delhi, and has grown into a highly experienced and respected musical tastemaker who has played an instrumental role in the development of creative communities across Asia and the Middle East. Music has always been at the centre of MoCity's remarkable career.
Influenced by the likes of Andrew Jervis, Joe Kay and Lefto, he ensures that no matter what role he's performing - as a DJ, promoter, label-owner and music entrepreneur, radio host - he is stretching culture to the maximum. The work he's done with pioneering crews such as the Reggae Rajahs (India), the 264 Cru (Dubai) and his award-winning podcast Motellacast, is a testament to his work ethic and philosophy. A global citizen, MoCity has used his multicultural heritage to connect audiences and communities across regions. Since 2016, MoCity has been hard at work building South Asia's first online community radio - Boxout.fm. The station recently announced it's own record label called Boxout.fm Recordings, and in a short span of time, has become one of the key players in India's flourishing independent music movement.
DJ Uri:
Fresh back from his European Tour, DJ Uri comes back to India with lots of new sounds and a new attitude. The last 12 months have seen him opening for artists such as Pretty Lights, Diplo, Major Lazer, Ed Sheeran, Benga & Skream, Dub Phizix & Foreign Beggars.With a career spanning over 4 decades, DJ Uri has been true to the Hip-Hop movement. Born in East London in 1974, his journey has been in full flow since 1982. Influenced by the “Street Sounds Compilations” and the break dance era, Uri has had a solid upbringing being exposed to underground music from an early age.
Getting his first turntables aged 13 he began to DJ for Hip-Hop crew “The Uptown Posse”, and by the age of 15 Uri was performing to crowds playing Hip-Hop, Disco, Funk and Soul. 25 years on he has the same desire and continues dropping the freshest and funkiest music with regular gigs across the UK, Europe and India.The depth of his collection and knowledge he has gained over the years are a credit to Hip-Hop culture. He lives and breathes the real essence of the Old Skool DJ and his pledge to only play on vinyl decks stays loyal to the art of Turntablism.Uri also dedicates time passing on his skills and personal experiences to the next generation of Scratch DJs. Currently Head of DJ Dept @ The True School of Music (Mumbai), and a tutor for Access to Music, Rock School & 2Funky, Uri is passionate about Music Education.
In February 2006 he opened his own DJ Academy Start from Scratch offering DJ, Music Production & Lyric Writing workshops across the UK.With a long history in the Indian scene, DJ Uri has been rocking the Indian club circuit and teaching local DJs for the past 17 years. In 2009, Uri decided to make Mumbai his permanent base. The last 5 years have seen him start up the Funk & Old Skool Hip-Hop scene with club nights like Ghettoblaster & Recycled, as well as nurturing the thriving Bass Music scene with his monthly Bass night Wobble! & Evolution: The History of Drum & Bass, a night showcasing the progression of DnB.As part of the Indo-German Hip Hop Project, Uri played an integral role in organizing and delivering high quality workshops and presentations in Hip-Hop culture, from DJ and Music Production workshops to Hip-Hop and DJ History. His recent project in Gujarat alongside Mandeep Sethi (SlumGods/ZuluNation) & Roc Fresh Crew (Mumbai) has opened up a new avenue for Hip-Hop culture to spread deeper into rural India.The last 3 summers have seen DJ Uri tour extensively across Europe, playing in Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland, Amsterdam and the UK with artists such as Marc Hype (Soulclap), The Dirty Honkers, Boys on Pills (Switzerland), MRK1 (Hench/UK), The Mighty Mocambos, Beat Evolution (Berlin), DJ Kite & Luc Masera (Antibling) & Dejoe (Germany). DJ Uri also celebrated his 25 th year DJ Anniversary (1987-2012) alongside DJ Sarasa (Minority Classics/Japan) in an unforgettable gig in Mumbai in April 2012. DJ Uri is the face of the B-Boy DJ in India, and takes pride in guiding the rapidly growing Hip-Hop scene across the country. “It’s all about exposing the true art forms of Hip-Hop, a craze that is huge across the western world. We are glad to be doing this here in India, and believe that our passion for this culture will be warmly welcomed”. Uri was the official DJ for Battle Of The Year South East Asia Finals and was also included in the Hip Hop Cookbook representing India alongside Hip Hop Legends Kurtis Blow, Crazy Legs (Rocksteady Crew) & Grand Mixer DST.DJ UriStart From Scratch / True School of music.
