Making Pune peeps proud, acoustic singer-songwriter Tejas Menon is known not just for being a stellar performer, but also for his melancholic ballads about love and people in his life. Founder of Kadak Apple Records, the pop-rock vocalist has played at events like the Bandstand Revival Mumbai, ‘Live from the Console’, Ragasthan Music Festival, the Vans New Wave Festival, NH7 Weekender Pune and Delhi, Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, India Bike Week and Mahindra Blues Festival.

menwhopause

menwhopause is a four-member alt-rock band from Delhi, known for being one of the first bands in India to distribute their music for free over the internet and kickstart the DIY ethic in India. Their first EP The story begins... was released online as a free download in 2003 after which the band released a full-length album Home on its own record label. The band has toured the USA twice with an appearance at SxSW 2007 (Austin, Texas) and won the 2008 Jack Daniels' Best Band of the Year.

Blackstratblues

Mumbai-based musician Warren Mendonsa aka Blackstratblues has been the guitar god of India for almost a decade now and plays a moody blend of blues and rock. The current Blackstratblues line-up includes Jai Row Kavi (Indus Creed, Tough On Tobacco, Karsh Kale) on drums, Beven Fonseca (Clinton Cerejo) on keyboards and Adi Mistry (Shankar Ehsaan Loy) on bass. The band has played some prestigious gigs such as Bacardi NH7 Weekender (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014), Sulafest 2012, Indigo & Blues 2012 and Mahindra Blues Festival in 2012, 2014 & 2015. With these guys on stage, live music in India does not get better than this.
