Contribution to the Australian Bush Fire Crisis via the Australian Red Cross

The exhibition is named - Magic Moments. This exhibition happens every year and this year it is in its 15th year. The exhibition is primarily a photography exhibition with photographs taken by Padma Shri Dr. Mukesh Batra, are exhibited. This year though the exhibition is bigger and also includes paintings by Australian artist Lene Makwana. The exhibition captures the natural beauty of Australia. Known as a purveyor of art, Dr. Batra whose work takes him around the globe, fulfils his passion for photography by taking striking visual images for the benefit of the visually-impaired. Having gained recognition for his photographic philanthropy. Dr. Batra’s photography has been highly appreciated and displayed in over 50 premium art galleries in the last 14 years across cities like Dubai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune and Chandigarh. Some of his exceptional work has been handpicked by NCPA for its archives. Many of his collections have adorned the walls of famous industrialists, politicians, fashion designers and film personalities. Dr Batra’s Foundation has sought to make a difference to the lives of many orphans, differently-abled children and the elderly.

This year the exhibition is in collaboration with the Australian Red Cross and aims for the following:

• Donating to the Australian Bush fires and to help in compensating for the loss of life
• Exhibition to create consciousness for the environment and battle global warming
• Building bridges between two nations together through art and people

This exhibition is purely for charity. The collectors can donate whatever amount they feel best for the photographs & art pieces to the Red Cross directly.
