This weekend let’s unwind with 2Blue a.k.a Tirthankar Poddar; all set to rock you with a mélange of classic, rock & Bollywood numbers.

An ex-sales & marketing professional turned Singer, Writer, Actor & radio jockey forayed into the Mumbai rock circuit in 2000 & gained notoriety for his powerful, high – pitched singing & on-stage charisma.

The self-taught singer attributes his vocal prowess to his childhood heroes: David Coverdale, Joe Lynn Turner, Ian Gillan, Ronnie James Dio & Bruce Dickinson. Over the past 20 years, 2Blue has been unswervingly focused on paying his respects to his classic rock heroes, all channeled through a band that believes in taking no prisoners. With a voice that can go from a whisper to a scream, and live concerts well over 500, 2Blue has performed at multiple corporate events, television studios, film sets, night clubs, reputed music festivals across the nation.

He has been honored with multiple including ‘Asian Anthem of the Year' Awards at AVIMA 2010 in Kuala Lumpur being the most significant. But living in the light of past glory is not what 2Blue is about. Constant reinvention is. So in 2013, 2Blue turned a new leaf, blending the tried and tested sounds of Bollywood with the classic rock he grew up on. And since then, his new sound has been a decided asset in his inexorable rise to the top.

His high-octane live performances create an immersive experience combining theatrical histrionics, witty banter, visuals, and of course very powerful music. For him, if a thing was good once, it always is. In his own words, "Whether it is music I created or not, I will remain committed to performing live!"
