About the Workshop:
Witnessing the current pandemic, our children could be experiencing feelings of helplessness over situations beyond their control; and yet there is much within our control- ‘our own selves’. What better time than ‘now’ to be equipped with self- healing cathartic and calming techniques.
In this one hour workshop the children will learn yogic as well as other dynamic practices to manage their own emotions and thoughts – all that is in their own hands!
About Flora:
Ms. Flora is an Ashtanga Yoga teacher who intends her Yoga sessions to be associated with happiness and celebration. She specialises in Yoga for children and has been conducting children’s programmes such as ‘Jumping Yogis’, ‘Happy Yogis’ and ‘Freespirit Yogis’. She has been teaching Yoga since 2008 beginning at the J W Marriott and thenceforth the Grand Hyatt, the Singapore International School, the American School of Bombay and the D Y Patil International School under the banner ‘Celebrating with Yoga’.
She has been associated with the American School of Bombay’s Intersessions since 2015. She feels Yoga should be a part of everyone’s lifestyle.
Materials Required:
Yoga mat, tissues, A4 size papers or sketch book, crayons/ pencils colours, pencil
