Star Wars Day is celebrated across the world on May 4 (May the fourth be with you!) but one day doesn't really make a difference and we hope the 5th be with you as well! Catch this amazing indie lineup performing their music to take you to space in this Star Wars themed night! Bring your lightsabers, wear your favorite costumes and be prepared to be taken to a galaxy far, far away with Saachi, Alvin Presley and The Lightyears Explode! They'll be performing their originals and some specials in a night you do not want to miss!

Saachi

Moody bops that tell tales of existentialism and dark humour are what Saachi brings to the forefront. The alt-pop artist hailing from India, marries genres to paint pictures of self-identity and existence in a modern, grey world. From signs that you're right where you're supposed to be, to saying "I'm doomed if I do, doomed if I don't" when it comes to people pleasing, the artist packs a punch with hard-hitting lyrics and sonic sensibilities that blend old RnB with Indie-pop. From playing smaller indie venues around the country to bigger stages like NH7 weekender and Supersonic. Saachi has opened for international acts like Shaggy and The Vamps, as well as done playback for 4 more shots please! Expect dark existential humour and hooky melodies!

Alvin Presley

Alvin Presley, hailing from Chennai, India, is an Alternative/Indie Pop singer-songwriter, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist. His 2023 EP ‘Pain Geography,' was recently nominated for the Indian Music Diaries 2024 Awards for best EP. Alvin has toured the country twice and his debut Album ‘Reverie’ releases this year. Alvin writes deeply personal songs about various unspoken themes, making his music instantly relatable with his powerful storytelling. He performs a high-energy live set with a trio of guitar, bass and drums and for this show will be performing a special set with his trio and a saxophone player.

The Lightyears Explode

The Lightyears explode are an Alternative/Pop/Punk Rock band comprising of guitarist/singer/songwriter Saurabh Roy, bassist Shalom Benjamin drummer Jeremy D’Souza and augmented live with Jishnu ‘Short Round’ Guha on Guitars. The Lightyears Explode write energetic, honest songs with simple Pop structures filtered through their Alternative Rock influences. The Lightyears Explode are seasoned performers, having performed all over the country and played in festivals like Nh7 weekender, Control Alt Delete, Orange Festival and more.
