Australia's biggest comedy festival is coming to Delhi with two of the brightest stars in Aussie comedy. The Comedy Club will house two of Australia's brightest comedy stars - the massively talented Dane Simpson and the brilliantly funny storytelling of Alex Ward

Alex Ward:

Alex is the funniest she’s ever been, mostly because she has nothing to apologise for. With personal, engaging and punch-line heavy comedy, Alex is truly on top of her game. As a Queenslander living in Melbourne, Alex is always cold, which makes the warmth she brings to the stage & screen all the more impressive. 

A regular guest on Network Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? by night, and a writer for The Project by day, Alex has also appeared on ThreeNow’s 7 Days in New Zealand,ABC Comedy’s At Home Alone Together, Tonightly with Tom Ballard & Comedy Up-Late, Audible’s Live from MICF stand-up series, triple j’s Good Az Friday, Melt Comedy Gala and Splendour In The Grass. 

Alex has become a mainstay on the Australian comedy circuit as she regularly performs around the country and continues to charm audiences. This year she returned with a national tour of her show You’re Welcome, filled with her trademark wit and masterful storytelling. 

Dane Simpson

Dane Simpson was a Deadly Funny national finalist in 2015; since then, it has been a fast-rising trajectory for this Wagga based comedian with a whirlwind of corporate gigs, tours, and festival runs – as both a solo artist and as part of Aborigi-LOL. Dane has appeared on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala, the Opening Night Comedy Allstars Supershow, Channel 10’s Have You Been Paying Attention, Get Krackin, and in feature film rom-com The Merger. He also produces the monthly Riverina Comedy Club and is a programmer/ producer to the Wagga Comedy Festival every year when there isn’t a pandemic. During lockdown, Dane became host of cult-hit Servo Bingo – an interactive online show revolving around the vehicles and characters turning up at the service station opposite Thirsty Crow brewery in Wagga. Yes, it was as silly and fun as it sounds.
