Every Year, Melting Pot – Consular Corps Charity Carnival brings together the various countries represented in the diverse city of Mumbai, under one singular roof.

This is the 20th edition of this cultural charity fundraising event where the Consulates of different countries in Mumbai showcase their traditions, customs and culture, and cuisine to contribute to a noble cause.

This year 29 Consulates will be setting up their country stands in the Regal Room, The Trident, Nariman Point. Apart from food from diverse regions of the world, cultural performances, a live band, a silent auction and an open bar are the other highlights of the evening to raise funds for selected worthy causes.

Consular Charity Carnival proceeds :

Corporate Social Responsibility is a very important part of the Diplomatic Community’s initiatives Funds collected will go to the following 4 NGO's that have been shortlisted by the participating Consulates :

1. Cankids: They work in 59 Cancer Centers, 24 Outstation Support Units and 07 Care Centers in 26 cities and 19 States of India, treating more than 15,000 new cases of childhood cancer each year.
2.  Oscar Foundation: They deliver life skills to children and youth from low-income communities using football as a tool for development and to encourage them towards completing their education.
3. Lions Club: One of the dream project undertaken by District Governor Lion Deepak Chaudhary is constructing 51 Check Dams in Palghar District.
4. Pragati Pratishthan: Pragati Pritishthan is an NGO, striving towards collective integrated development of the residents of Jawhar Tahsil for the last 30 years.
