About the Workshop:

This workshop will focus on creating writing that is an engaging, sensory experience inspired by pivotal moments in your life.

The key aspects of the workshop will be:

1. Translations of your own experiences into universally relatable literature, where the reader can inhabit themselves in your stories.
2. The keen distinctions between autobiographies and memoir writing; how and why the latter can be written by anyone and not just famous personalities. 
3. The use of writing techniques employed in fiction for writing your memoir; recreate scenes, build dialogue, understand character sketches and narrative flow.

Date - 28th June, 2020

Timings - 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Fee - INR 500 (include a certificate of participation)

*This is a LIVE and INTERACTIVE workshop.

*It is conducted over a password-protected ZOOM video live session

*Class link will be sent 30 mins before on whatsapp on the number given by you - you can access it via phone / laptop.

*No prior writing experience is required for this workshop. 

About the Facilitator: 

Aastha is a writer, critic and curator with a background in Architectural Design, and History, Theory, Criticism. She has a masters from Columbia University and has held editorial positions in various publications in New York and India.
