Join us on Sunday 3rd December for an improvised, ambient, electronic music performance — featuring FOX P2, Sourya Sen and philterSoup.

What promises to be an intimate evening, each artist will be debuting new music that can accommodate “many levels of listening”. At the intersection of performance and composition, each artist produces music with different approaches and instruments, creating new layers of interaction, sound and feedback, producing moments both rehearsed and those that exist only in the moment. 

About FOX P2:

A Bombay based artist interested in language and all things connected with it. Performed entirely on the Roland SP404, this performance takes us through the journey of human communication. Travel noisily from early expression, to whatever it is we have today, and whatever it is that will come tomorrow. 

About Sourya Sen:

Sourya Sen is a Mumbai-based audiovisual artist and creative technologist whose practice spans music, visuals, and technology. With a wide-ranging portfolio, Sourya has created installations, designed performance visuals, contributed to open source projects, and performed and released independent music and audiovisual works. In 2023 he released his debut album, In the Cities, and was a OneBeat Virtual fellow. 

About philterSoup:

Sanjay Das, widely known as philterSoup, is an artist working at the intersection of art and technology. Sanjay has a rich background in media composition and has worked on productions for Netflix, Amazon and Vice. He also releases left field electronic music like his debut EP “Trilogy of Five”, modular improvisation album "Decoherence" and EP “Emersion” with singer-songwriter SAT. This 45 minute performance is an exploration, weaving a rich sonic tapestry from field recordings, live improvisation with synthesisers, and the art of carefully tuned generative algorithms. These elements both influence and are influenced by Sanjay's improvisational prowess, offering an intimate glimpse into ever-evolving soundscapes inspired by his travels and creative endeavours over the past year. Sanjay holds a degree in Music Technology from London College of Music and is working on a full length album slated for release next year.
