Day 1:
We meet at the first pickup point by 6pm and board the bus to Lonar. It's an overnight journey. The entire bus is ours, so we can sing, play games and make as much noise as we want. We halt for dinner on the way.
Day 2:
We reach Lonar early in the morning and check-in to our comfortable hotel to freshen up. Our day begins after a delicious breakfast and some rest after the long bus ride.
We explore the quaint village of Lonar and the beautiful forests around it. The afternoon is at leisure.
Post lunch we head to the beautiful Daityasudan temple and one of the only two Bramha temples in the world. These temples are over a thousand years old and a fine example of rock-cut architecture.
The evening is spent at the watchtower which gives a bird’s-eye view of Lonar lake, village and the forest that covers the land as far as the eye can see. The night ends with a hearty dinner and chilling around the camp fire.
Day 3:
Today involves a lot of walking. After an early breakfast we head out to explore the Lonar crater and lake. We will be accompanied by an experienced guide. It's a 5 hour long trail around the lake which is dotted with several ancient temple ruins. The lake is surrounded by a forest on all sides and is home to a large variety of flora and fauna. This place is paradise to bird watchers and those interested in history and architecture.
After the tiring long walk, we have tea in the evening and board our bus back to Mumbai. On the way we halt for dinner.
Day 4:
We reach Mumbai early morning by 7am. Hopefully you've had an experience out of this world and made memories for a lifetime.

Transport by private AC bus (Bombay-Lonar-Bombay)
Meals: 2 breakfasts, 2 lunch and 1 dinner (all meals while we're at Lonar)
