Indigo Mustard art project believes in teaching art the right way - offline, at ease and in the company of a master artist. We collaborate only with established practising artists to bring you a completely fresh perspective to art and creativity. We carefully curate workshops to ensure you have an overall splendid experience with everything taken care of.

This time we bring you the magic of mixed media abstact painting! If you love the interplay of colour, texture, surfaces as represented in nature then you are going to love the mixed-media abstract workshop we have created with artist Madhuri Kathe.

Madhuri is an acclaimed practising artist who has done solo as well as group shows both in India and abroad. Most recently in 2018 she participated in the Busan International Art Fair in South Korea and was also an artist in residence at Atlej-Am Sweden. She also has a Masters in Drawing, Painting, Ancient Indian History Culture and Archaeology and like that wasn't enough she also has a Phd Doctorate in the field of art.

As an artist Madhuri is interested in the relationship between the natural elements and the man-made. Materials are deconstructed using modern methods creating organically built up layers of fabric, paper, paint that form a unique visual abstract and tactile creation.

In the workshop we will work on an 18x18 inch stretched canvas and create your own mixed media abstract landscape under the guidance of Madhuri. The abstract landscape will come alive using mixed media such as acrylic paint, fabric and paper and more.

Fees are inclusive of all art material for the workshop (18x18 inch stretched canvas, acrylic paints, mixed media materials and tools for use in the workshop) lunch and refreshments. The workshop is suitable for anyone wanting to learn art and express on canvas. Minimum age 16 years.
