Join us for a slow-paced nocturnal wildlife walk along the base of a hill, led by Gowri from Wilderness Ways. As we meander through the terrain, we will spot snakes and other nocturnal creatures, culminating at a small stream to explore its unique habitat. Experience the enchantment of walking at night, learn the art of wildlife spotting, and gain in-depth knowledge about nocturnal insects, animals, and snake behavior. Facilitator

Gowri is the founder of Wilderness Ways and Climb Like A Woman, and an experienced nature connection educator for both adults and children. She manages communication and outreach, and has consulted schools on maintaining green and diverse campuses while developing educational activities to reconnect children with nature. As an instructor for Wild Earth, Gowri led nature camps and environmental education programs, creating and teaching curricula focused on nature knowledge and survival skills. Her work spans across taking students into the woods for immersive learning experiences and help everyone recoonect with the natural world. Additionally, she has field experience in conducting vegetation surveys, collecting and preserving plant samples, and documentation of extensive field projects.
