The Timeliners are Back With S02 of Aam Aadmi Family

We all are well aware of how a ‘Sharmaji ka beta’ is like. Talented, well-mannered, excelling at almost everything. But in Aam Aadmi Family, Bobby Sharma is nothing like it. However, the legendary Sharma Ji is exactly how one would imagine him to be. A family-man. He always sticks to his ideals, is comfortable in his job, is never proud of his son, protective of his daughter and very careful about the money his family spends.

Aptly titled, ‘Aam Aadmi Family’ is every Indian middle-class household. Scenarios that occur every day in our houses depicted with a little bit of humour. The most relatable of all has to be the family's online purchases. Let's just say, an air-conditioner is not bought at the tap of a button. The ads want you to believe so, but we know what goes behind that decision. After countless arguments, price comparisons, trips to the store, verification from your neighbours, 'unhone toh itne me kharida tha', a middle-class family buys any item for the house. The series in association with Flipkart also takes you through these occasions. It's actually funny, how after every episode you will look at your parents and go 'That is so you'.

A complete family with a dad that judiciously spends, a mother who is ultra-caring but has her share of whining and taunting, a daughter who is mature, progressive and often the mediator for all important discussions, a son – the favourite of the house despite being manipulative, sometimes spoiled and an average student, an adorable Daadi(grandma) who thinks her end days are near, loves TV and is way too obsessive about her medication. You need to watch this comedy-drama with the entire family in attendance.

Season one in eight episodes showed us a glimpse of all the questions, problems, arguments that our family goes through. Season two aims to continue with the same. With Mr.Sharma on a transfer, Bobby trying to be the man of the house and Sonu getting married, season two is a journey through the next stage.
