Rajgad Fort (near Pune, India) is one of the grandest forts of the Sahyadris. It was Shivaji Maharaj's capital for 26 years before moving the capital to the Raigad fort. This fort is a must visit in any one's trekking/adventure list. One has to stay in the Padmavati temple which can house 50 people.

At just 65 Kms from Pune, Rajgad is one of the nearest trekking destinations from Pune.

Brief Itinerary:

28th January, Saturday

07:00 pm: Mumbai and Pune participants to meet at Pune railway station

07:15 pm: Move towards base village in 30/40 seater bus.

9.00pm: Reach base village and have dinner.

10:00 pm: Start our trek towards Rajgad fort

01:00 AM: Reach the top, have campfire, and spend some time.

02.30 pm: We'll have night stay at the Padmavati temple

29th January, Sunday

06:00 am: wake up and start exploring the fort.

08:00 am: breakfast

08.30-11.00: visit different places on the fort, photographs etc

11.30am: lunch

12.00pm: start descend towards the base village

3.30pm: reach Pune station by bus and trek ends with happy memories
