Welcome back to India, Michael! We're super-excited about this tour. Coming to NITRO - we do know that you guys plan to do more 'death metal' stuff than the glam material of the 80s. Could you elaborate on that a little more? Is 'It Won't Die' a sign of things to come?
I have released 12 solo albums since the original NITRO. My solo music is very different from the original and new NITRO. Chris, Jim, all of us have evolved musically and while Jim will sing the majority of the songs, he will use his Death Metal voices when the part calls for it. "It Won't Die" (below) to me was the perfect song to introduce the new NITRO. Jim has so many different great voices he can use and you hear several of them in the song. I'm still "tearing it up" on guitar and Chris delivered an amazing drum performance on the song. Victor found his place and played amazing! Lastly, the message is positive.
Check out the 'new' NITRO's brand-new track, It Won't Die, below.
"It Won't Die" to me was the perfect song to introduce the new NITRO.
We just have to ask - are we going to see the double-neck guitar?
I will be performing the Double-Guitar on this tour!
What's next for NITRO? New material coming up?
Yes. We have all new songs written for the album. All new parts. All fresh ideas. Our focus is finishing the album and then supporting the release with as much as we can possibly do.
Sounds amazing. When's the album coming out? Don't mind us, we're greedy!
It should be released in early 2018.

In India, is it just playing, or will you guys be holidaying as well or working on other projects?
The tour schedule is very busy, so this time it will be mostly shows and working.
We thought India would be the perfect place to do the first tour and we can't wait to start the concerts!
It's amazing that you guys chose India to kick-start this tour. How come? Not that we're complaining, of course.
Both Chris and I have toured in India several times already. I love performing here. I love the country, the people and I love the cuisine! We thought it would be the perfect place to do the first tour. I'm grateful for the response and the band can't wait to start the concerts!

What was it like working with (bassist) Victor Wooten?
Victor is the best of the best. His musical mind goes to places where no one has gone! It's almost surreal. His skills work great with our music!
